Ugh!!!! Missed Opportunities

Two things you can't do if you want to beat the reigning World Champions. Give them five outs in an inning and leave 15 men on base. Last night's game was so frustrating that I had to stop watching it. So many missed scoring opportunities. They had Vasquez on the ropes more times than a hangman. But they couldn't put him away.
Vasquez threw 111 pitches in his five innings of work giving up six hits and walking six, yet they could only score two lousy runs, both on Giambo's two run shot to left center.
A-Rod's 19th error of the season was just as costly as the Yankees lack of clutch hitting leading to the four runs scored in the second by the Chisox. Not to mention the fact that KC swept the fading Sux and they missed a golden opportunity to move four games ahead.
All in all a very frustrating night of missed opportunities.
