No Mo Scares

Mo, Mo, Mo! Sometimes you just scare the crap out of me! Last night was one thing. That was a game that the Yankees should have won. Missed scoring chances and of course Konerko's pop.

Tonight, again with the agina! Well at least we came away with the win.

Some positive musings:

RJ looked very impressive.
Abreu finally hit a homer and has been great since coming over from the Phillies.
Cano has looked and played great since coming off the DL.
Matsui may be back in less than two weeks.

Tomorrow night Moose is going against ex-Yank flop Vasquez.

Moose is 6-2 on the road this year with a 3.42 ERA. He is 1-0 against the White Sox this year.

And Papelbone just blew a save and the Sux lost! Woo hoo! Three games up. Life is good.
:-)

Here's a little tidbit from the Elias Sports Bureau.

Who leads the American League in blown saves since June 1?

Would you believe it's Jonathan Papelbon, who blew a one-run ninth-inning lead in the Red Sox' 5-4 loss to the Royals. It was Papelbon's second consecutive blown save, and his fifth in his last 15 opportunities after starting the season 20-for-20. Papelbon shares the A.L. lead in blown saves since June 1 with Ambiorix Burgos.
